Midnight Rider is a Chicago-based tribute band comprised of consummate professionals who have worked with everyone from Billy Preston to Willie Nelson and Ronny Montrose to Buddy Rich and Curtis Mayfield. They know how to entertain and give the audience the full Allman Brothers Band experience. Each Midnight Rider show is different and fresh.

Mason Clay ~ Lead Vocals ~ Acoustic Guitar

Mason Clay was born in Chicago. Through the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Mason was the lead singer of the band “Roadhouse, whose original music gained a dedicated following in Chicago & the Midwest. It is well known amongst his fans throughout his many years as a top-tier vocalist in many successful acts that he “looks and sounds exactly like Gregg Allman.” When first approached by Midnight Rider to help form an Allman Brothers Band tribute, he rolled up his sleeve and revealed a tattoo of the Allman Brothers Band logo on his arm. The rest is history.

Juddzey ~ Hammond Organ ~ Sax ~ Vocals

Frank “Juddzey” Judd began his music studies at the famous Old Town School of Music while still in kindergarten, during which time his father taught him music theory on a plectrum banjo. He has since been a featured Hammond organist and sax player with many well-known acts around the midwest. As one of the co-founders of Midnight Rider, Juddzey has found a home that allows him to showcase his extraordinary skills.

Ron “Dr. Sweat” Anderson – Percussion – Vocals

Since the age of six, music has been a passion for the good doctor. He has been playing with bands in and around the Chicago area since he was 12 years old. His list of professional credits includes The Captain and Tennille, Lou Rawls, Ramsey Lewis as well as a two-week tour of the Australian Coast with Sine … The Band to support the 2000 Olympic Torch Ceremonies. Dr. Sweat has vast experience as a multi-genre musician has found him in professional situations as diverse as the city of Chicago, which he calls home. As a talented percussionist and entertainer, Dr. Sweat brings the depth required to give the audience the true Allman Brothers musical experience.
